Come feel the clay yourself. This autumn both workshops revolve around the same thing: a complete breakfast set for two. Small groups, everything included.

One booking — both parts are part of the workshop.
In part 1 you make all the pieces. They dry and go into the bisque firing. In part 2 you pick your glaze combination — two combinations at most — and apply it.
Glazing only
The pieces have already been thrown and bisque fired for you. You decide the colour.

One half-day session. You choose from every glaze in the studio and glaze the complete breakfast set. Pick one of the three dates.
The workshops are held in the studio in Nieuw-Vennep. You get the full address when you book.
Booking happens online, paying does not. You'll receive the payment details by email after you book.
Glazes
Every glaze is here — Mayco, Amaco and Spectrum among others, yours to pick from and use freely. All food safe, fired at a stoneware temperature of 1220 °C. The pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe afterwards.

Firing & collection
Glaze goes onto work that has already been bisque fired at 1000 °C. After 24 hours of drying it goes into the glaze firing, between 1200 and 1240 °C. It then takes roughly 30 to 36 hours before the kiln can safely be opened. Collection is by appointment — I'd rather not ship, given the risk of breakage.
